About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at iEHR, your mission is to empower customers to unlock the full potential of the platform as efficiently and effectively as possible. Joining as a founding member of the Forward Deployed Engineering team, you'll play a critical role in setting the tone for the team’s culture, designing foundational processes, and ensuring its success.

What You Will Do

Reduce Time to Value for iEHR Implementations
- Lead enterprise workshops and training sessions to accelerate customer success.
- Troubleshoot implementations, provide technical guidance, and create documentation to empower customers to realize value quickly for their patients and providers.
- Drive iEHR’s revenue growth by acting as a catalyst for customer success.

Serve as a Strategic Thought Partner
- Build relationships with customer executives and provide trusted guidance to the C-Suite.
- Assist customers in planning their EHR strategies, operations, and execution, empowering them to lead in the healthcare industry.

Grow Existing Customer Value
- Identify new use cases by gathering intel, securing executive buy-in, and managing implementation work streams.
- Educate customers on the “art of the possible,” expanding iEHR’s footprint within existing accounts and driving long-term success.

Develop Enterprise Features and Integrations
- Write code to support healthcare workflows like e-prescribing, labs, billing, and benefits checks.
- Unlock new capabilities for customers while enhancing iEHR’s value proposition within the healthcare market.

Provide Feedback to Product and Engineering
- As the team member closest to customers, prioritize their feedback and help shape the product and engineering roadmap.
- Drive innovation by capturing customer challenges and needs.

Set the Tone for the Forward Deployed Engineering Team
- Build a world-class team that serves as a critical driver of iEHR’s growth and market expansion.
- Develop benchmarks for success and continuously optimize processes to serve customers better.
About You
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively across various channels.
- Technical Expertise: Have full-stack TypeScript experience and the ability to develop iEHR Bots, perform data migrations, and create third-party integrations.
- Self-Management: Thrive in an autonomous work environment, capable of following up promptly, managing time efficiently, and paying attention to the details.
- Relationship Building: Build trust with technical and business leaders at customer organizations to become a reliable strategic partner.
- Focus on Success: Adopt a “win at all costs” mentality to ensure successful deployments.
- Experience: Have 3+ years in a customer-facing technical sales, customer success, or technical consulting role.
- Location: Based in Dublin or Galway, with availability for twice-weekly in-person collaboration.
Bonus Qualifications
- FHIR Expertise: Knowledge of HL7 FHIR standards to enhance healthcare integrations and workflows.
